Using Computer-Aided Vehicle Dynamics (CAVD) software, BRP engineers took an innovative approach to all aspects of the chassis of this new-generation Outlander. The goal, bring the knowledge of new-wave geometries gained through yearsof testing that would challenge traditional thinking in the off-road world. The result are principles of design we call GeometricContact Control. This allows the chassis of the next-generation Outlander to deliver the hardcore performance the Can-Am brand is known for, yet enhance the overall comfort of the vehicle at all levels of riding.
The next generation Outlander maintains its unrivalled engine performance with a new 976cc Rotax V-Twin, industry leading horsepower and a stellar power-to-weight ratio, all of which are integral attributes for a modern rec-utility ATV. The stylish Outlander 1000 offers precision handling and point-and-shoot dynamics that mesh well with its new found comfort levels, revitalized ergonomics, improved conveniences and no-compromise makeup.
