The impressive 89hp, 80º 976cc liquid-cooled V-twin DOHC, eight-valve Rotax engine in the Renegade X mr 1000R is mated to EFI for optimal performance at all times.
– Mud-ready CVT with lower L gear range
The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) means no shifting is required. The system includes standard engine braking with High, Low, Park, Neutral and Reverse gears. The CVT housing has 13 bolts to ensure a proper seal and also includes an integrated drain plug. The Can-Am X mr family includes an extra low range L gear with a softer engagement and improved throttle control for low-speed riding and better traction in heavy mud.
– Relocated engine and CVT intake and outlet system
Can-Am has made sure that critical components like the CVT intake and outlet, as well as the engine intake are located as high as possible on the ATV. We placed them in the pod directly in front of the handlebars and high above the muddy, wet conditions below.
